Jeremys facination with alligators came to him at a very young age. Alligators and crocodiles are present day dinosaurs. We have always enjoyed educating people and clearing up the myths and misconceptions about these large predators. Here on the preserve we have several alligators averaging from 2 foot to 9 foot and weighing between 10-300 lbs. Although alligators are abundant in South Florida, It is obviously dangerous to approach one in the wild.
The preserve is  also home to many different species of wildlife. We not only have large predators , but also have birds of prey, parrots, bobcats, monkies, skunks, fox, racoons (just to name a few). We even have goats, chickens, geese, pigs, donkey, mini horse, mini pony, and land tortoise!
