I have been fortunate to have worked with big cats starting at a young age. Although most tigers may look alike, each have their own personality. One thing I have learned over the years, is that big cats need lots of exercise. Each day, all of our cats are given plenty of exercise as well as one on one attention. Tigers and Lions are different both in their appearence and psychologically. Keep in mind that Lions are social and Tigers are generally solitary. Tigers rely on stealth, while Lions rely on strength in numbers. Although these large cats wouls never cross paths in the wild, here on the preserve, the spend their lives playing and socializing with each other day in and day out.
